it's my first time making a shirt, and it looks great! But I'm confused, what tools people use for buttonholes? I tried using scissors, but is there any other tools I can for buttonholes?

I swear by a buttonhole cutter or a rotary cutter for clean cuts. Definitely worth grabbing one if you wanna keep those holes looking sharp. :) Good luck and good job on the shirt.

I agree with the buttonhole cutter. It looks like a little wood chisel and comes with a small piece of wood that you put under the buttonhole so you won't damage your cutting table or sewing table when you use it. They work great!
