I bought this 2 days ago and got right into work. Then today, the thread cutter stopped doing its job. THAT FAST. How can I fix this? Is it safe to just leave it be so I don't mess with my warranty? Actually I only got a week worth of warranty since I got this from an authorized seller.

I believe it's best to contact the authorized seller immediately. explain and let them know that it happened within your warranty period. They should be able to help you troubleshoot, repair, or replace the machine. hope this works for you!

Any chance you have some thread stuck under your needle plate? Had that happen a while ago with a brand new Janome (different model), there was thread stuck in there that I saw after removing the needle plate. I extracted the thread out with tweezers and it worked perfectly fine after that

I agree with CharlieSquared, take out the needle plate, and your bobbin, plus your bobbin holder and make sure there are not any threads stuck in them! I have had that happen to me on my Vikings a few times. If there isn't thread stuck in those two places I would take it back to the seller before the warranty is up and have their repair person look at it.
