Nice to "meet" everyone!

I have been sewing since I was 8 (mainly for Barbie). Started sewing my own clothes in junior high.

Worked as a tailor and an upholsterer for classic car shop in my 20's. That somehow lead to a career in I.T. (?!)

Retired from that and worked at Joann's for 8+ yrs so I could hoard fabric.

I mainly do quilting now, but make myself the occasional top, flannel shirts, fleece coats and sweats and upcycle jean jackets to sell, along with quilts.

I have 5 machines <<blush>>. Janome M6550, heavy duty, serger, an embroidery machine and a Grace longarm.

Looking forward to talking with you all soon!

Nice to meet you, Jillian. Of course, sewing leads to working in IT!. From what I've heard, five machines are not too many for any serious sewist.
