I'm new to this forum. I like to sew things that suit me, loose old fashioned boho style, patchwork, easy wear. I'm looking forward to sharing things I have made and looking at what others are doing. I have a very old Singer that I have cleaned, greased, oiled and reconditioned. It's a great machine, made back when they knew how to make them! It's nothing fancy, but I like it, except for a walking foot. I don't have one for this machine yet but had one on my last, new machine and loved it. It's a "must have".

Oh, you sound like fun. I like the 3-tiered full gypsy type skirts, make them patchwork, and maybe some embroidery on the solid blocks.

I love those type of skirts! I have made a few too, mostly for myself. I sold a few and still have one that I love and wear a lot. It's a great way to use up scraps and leftovers. I do a lot of embroidery but never thought of embroidering on the skirt squares. Great idea!

I'd love to see it if you do some embroidery on squares here and there.
