Holiday fabric stash reckoning

Hello sewing friends! Hope your holidays are going well! I pulled out all my fabric for last‑minute gifts and discovered I somehow bought three identical winter prints. My 2026 goal is to sew from stash before buying anything new. Anyone else doing a post‑holiday stash audit?

I will be as soon as I get my set up downstairs where it is much warmer than my sewing room upstairs. My goal is to make some Christmas presents/birthday presents for 2026 and also to sew for charity.

Hopefully they are a fabric you love! I am working on cross-body bags right now. I give these to our homeless shelter. Sewing for charity is a great idea. I love to sew but we can have only so many “wall hangings” etc.
