I’m helping my sister with some historical patterns (midi skirts, wide pants), but those huge 5m hems are a nightmare to get even
I hang them to let the bias stretch, but I always end up with wonky lines
I’m a beginner, so I’m missing the pro way to do this. I tried it on, and my dress form doesn’t match my curves, and trying to pin it on myself is just a loop of try on → unpick → cry → repeat
Any tricks or videos for leveling a massive hem by yourself?
