I’m working on a jacket project, but zippers are driving me nuts. They always end up crooked or puckered. I’ve watched tutorials, but mine never look professional. Any zipper success stories or tips? please help before i give this jacket up

Zippers drove me crazy too until I started using double‑sided sewing tape. It holds the zipper in place so you don’t fight with pins while stitching. hope this helps!

hi @windmills21 try to use some double sided wash away wonder tape! Pins are your enemy with zippers because the fabric shifts as it goes under the presser foot.
If you tape the zipper down exactly where you want it first, it can’t budge or pucker. Once you sew it, the tape just disappears in the first wash. It’s a total game-changer for professional results
