Help needed on my first curtain project

I just posted about my first curtain project. The fabric had a mind of its own, and the hems followed. Glad to be here and ready to learn how to tame the textiles!

Great to see you join us! Fabric with attitude is part of the adventure. Did you use a lining or just one layer? Looking forward to hearing more and hope you explore threads here for more inspirations.

I've always had the best luck pulling a thread and cutting along that line, top and bottom.
Or, doing it visually, as you cut.
That way you get an extremely straight line to start with.
Also if they are curtains you'll be washing later on, wash the fabric first.
