I need help with Simplicity 8910

I'm totally stuck on the v-neck binding. The center piece has a diamond shape with 2 dots, I transferred them, but I have no clue what they're for or how they help with sewing it on. Ive ripped it out 4 times and still cant figure it out.

Hey, I get your frustration. V-neck bindings can be confusing at first. The diamond shape with two dots is typically used to help you align the binding at the center front. Those dots often mark pivot points or where the binding needs to line up with the V
Try pinning the binding first and match those dots to the point of the V It might also help to staystitch the neckline before attaching the binding so it doesn't stretch out while you're working on it.
You've got this. Sometimes it just takes a few tries to click into place.

Those are indicators as to where you will make a tuck after sewing.
Once you've sewn the binding on, lay the garment out flat, inside out, folded down the center.
On the neck binding, it will "stick out" >.
You will sew up and down on the center line. Then press that "diamond" flat on center.
Turn right side out, sew in the ditch on the center seam. OR...
Tack the two sides down by hand inside.

Just adding to what they said that those two dots on the center piece are super important guides to help line up with the shoulder seams, so you know exactly where to stop stitching your binding to the neckline.
The diamond shape indicates the very bottom point of your V.

@blueskyhigh yeah, V neck bindings are tricky, so don't feel bad for having to rip it out. The pattern markings are the key to getting it right.
The most common mistake is sewing all the way down to the point. Instead, you'll want to stitch only between the two dots. This creates a small V shape, and you can then clip the seam allowance and press it open to get a clean, sharp point

Four rip-outs sounds about right for a V-neck. The dots aren't decoration... they're your pivot point. Stitch down to the dot, stop with your needle in, turn the binding, then keep going. If you just try to sew straight through, it'll never sit right.
