New to Sewing

Hi everyone! I just picked up my first sewing machine last month and have been practicing with simple pouches. I’m here to learn the basics, get advice on beginner projects, and hopefully move on to clothes soon.

Welcome! I started with drawstring bags for my kids’ toys. Super easy, and it taught me straight seams. Once you’re comfortable, aprons are a great next step before tackling clothes.
