Been using a basic iron for years but thinking about getting a steam press. I mostly sew garments and some home decor. Is it worth the switch? Would love to hear what others use and why. Any brand recommendations will be good too!

I have been using the SINGER Intelligent Steam Press and it’s helped with consistency across batches. It’s worth it if you press often and want cleaner finishes. Are you planning to use it daily or just for bigger projects?

Steam presses help with speed and consistency, especially for seams and hems in home decor projects. Singer and Steamfast models are popular for their ease of use and wide pressing area. Do you press mostly cottons or mixed fabrics?
