what do sewers and quilters look for when buying fabrics?

I've got a huge, great condition roll of white cotton fabric at home. and I need to get rid of it. I want to sell it to someone who can use it!
Since I know nothing about sewing or quilting, I have tons of questions about this. what details do you all look for when buying fabric? How important is thread count and what's considered good?
Are there specific cotton features or preferred dimensions?
What questions would you ask a seller so I can answer them up front?
Any advice to make my listing attractive is appreciated

For cotton, people mainly want to know weight (like quilting cotton vs. canvas) and width. Thread count matters less than you’d think unless it’s super fine. If you can measure the width and snap a close‑up of the weave, you’ll make quilters very happy!
