Zipper outrage

Hi everyone, I’m making my first dress and the invisible zipper is giving me a headache. It keeps showing on the outside no matter how carefully I sew. Is this a technique issue or do I need anything special?? Plz help me out before I go crazy!

I acually have my own ways to do invisible zips
I usually sew the seam closed, use long basting stitches and then use a glue stick to stick the zip on and sew it in. Then after I get the zip in I will rip out the basting. this method always work for me, maybe you should try

I had the same problem on my daughter’s prom dress before. Turns out I needed an invisible zipper foot. it flattens the zipper coils so the stitches sit right. Once I switched, the zipper really disappeared.
