A while back i purchased a set of patterns that has Santa, Snowman and Gingerbread Man. These little guys are so cute, so punky. The artist/craftsperson has quite a few that are still available, her name is Maureen Mills. There are chickens, rabbits, Raggedy Anns, just really cute but pitiful looking characters. Anyone else here enjoy making stuffed animals? I have a few that I've made just for fun without much of a pattern. A Chewbacca the Wookie doll, a Matroyshka set, and one I tea stained the fabric to make an old looking doll, painted her face on like from back in the 1800s.

aw, I didn't make those that are pictured, in the future, the future. My main hobby is collecting craft supplies and fabric.

I've got another project to work on too. These are a little group of felt mythical creatures, one is Yeti, one is Sasquatch, one is Mothman (WV myth), and one is Nessie (that I call Chessie because I'm from land of the Chesapeake Bay).
Will post photos when complete. I think I'll give them to my grandkids.

I think the mythical creature project is a great idea! Yeti, Sasquatch, Mothman, and Chessie make a fun group. Felt is perfect for those characters because it gives them a chunky, textured style. The way you tea-stained the vintage doll makes it look so cool. Your grandkids will probably love having their own cryptid figures to play with.
