Trying out a palazzo pattern

I've been eyeing a few palazzo pants patterns lately and I think it might be time to actually give one a try. I like the wide leg cut and flowy drape, never done this before by the way so it might be fun or may just mess it up because of too much excitement lol
What I like about working with a proper pattern is that it takes out some of the guesswork with fit, especially around the waist and hips, while still letting you play with length, fullness, and fabric. Anyway, I felt a breezy rayon or cotton could make for an easy summer pair

Are you using a printed pattern or drafting your own? And how do you plan to finish the waistband, are you going to use elastic, drawstring, or something else? I'm thinking of trying a pair too for summer!

Your plan to use a breezy rayon or cotton is perfect for that flowy drape. Rayon often behaves nicely, but just make sure to prewash and press it well before cutting. it can shift around easily!
