Hello,
I am new to this sewing forum. An oldie from the Soapmaking forum. LOL.
I flip back and forth from making quilts, corsets, and costumes to general sewing for friends; then back to soapmaking. However, I have taken a break from the soap making for a bit since I have injured my dominant (soap stirring) hand.
I live in London, Ontario up here in Canada. I am a grandmother to two beautiful grandkids. Mother to one and mother-in-law. I work full time in the medical field and my husband and I raise race horses. Spring is the best time with the babies.
I recently set up a greenhouse in my yard and have put my mid-arm quilt frame out there and hope to do some quilting in the fall. Summer is waaaay too hot (goes up to 54 degrees C). So I'm calling it my she-shed/sewing space.
I'm excited to see what others are sewing nowadays.
Once I get home I will post my recent baby quilt I made for my boss' new grandbaby.
Cheers
